WOW this took awhile. Too many details. D:

This is based on the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I think FIM is more of a remake of that show than the old MLP. At the end of the opening credits it would always show all the friends together on a hilltop at night, and then there would just be Christopher Robin and Pooh sitting together. Really heartwarming stuff.

After reading your description, I had to listen to the 60-second version of the Winnie the Pooh end credits while looking at this, and it really did fit the mood of the picture.

I've always loved the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! Such great writers! :D I can see the resemblance between the two shows as well. :)

Ah. The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. That show was my childhood. Maybe that's why I like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic so much.

Ever thought of doing a picture of the Mane 6 watching a cloud painting such as in "Donkey for a Day" ([link])? That would be wonderful.

do you remember the episode of Winnie the pooh where Tigger fell into a wishing well and was taken to a world of birthday wishes?

I see this, and it touches me. I read the description, and it makes a mountain of sense.

I think the one thing that Faust changed though... was real stakes. TNAWtP was a great little show, and I still vaguely remember it, but it never really struck home as seriously as MLP did. Pooh had morals, and great stories, but MLP is closer to home, and it is much stronger because the stakes are higher and more real.

That's why it strikes home to so many people I think. It takes many back to Winnie the pooh's innocence, but at the same time it is more real to the aware and no longer innocent people that they are. I wonder if Faust saw that... or if it was ultimately the works of fate or destiny?
